Tom's Kiwanis Experience
- Joined Kiwanis in October 1976
- Elected to the office of the President, Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe Sunrisers in 1979
- Served as Lt. Governor, Division 45 from 1981-1982, 1994-1995 and 1996. Tom by asked by then-Governor Bob Erikson to complete the year for Lt. Governor Jack Knapp, who suddenly passed away from cancer.
- Between 1982 and 1994, Tom served with many governors chairing and serving on District committees.
- Tom was elected to District Foundation Board in 1996 and served as President 2000-2002.
- During his first term as Lt. Governor (1981-1982), Tom organized the Kiwanis Club of North Lake Tahoe and, in 2001, he was instrumental in the organization of the Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra and served as its Charter President.
